Blonde and In New Mexico

Well it feels like summer.... yeah with tempuratures over 100 degrees its kind of rediculus, I mean come on its the begining of JUNE!!! So these past couple weeks have been insain. With packing to move out to New Mexico and my sisters stress and the family reunion  coming up next weekend life has been pretty hecktic. But now we are here in Clovis and soon Andrea will be unpacked. However my move is just around the corner. Next week mom and I will be moving the trailer out here for me to live in. And that is after the family Reunion. I wonder sometimes if anyone actually reads this... or if this is just for my own little amusment... well I dont know I guess I'm just feeling a little lost right now. Anywho onward with this blog. I am now BLONDE for the first time since I was like 3 or so. Its kinda crazy. I keep seeing my refection and freaking out. Sorry no pictures today just this short entry. Ok so, whoever is out there thanks for listening.

S'mores Cake

Ok so we all know that I love the stuff from Studio 5, however due to not living in Utah or Idaho I don't exactly get KSL on the TV so I have to go through things online. So I will do this every couple days or so. Well the other day I noticed they had made S'more Cupcakes!!! Seriously who doesn't love s'mores? honestly how can anyone not love them. After watching the video I simply had to try this recipe. I told Andrea about it and she agreed, next time we made it to the store we got the ingredients. The only difference is instead of making cupcakes we made cakes instead. We bought two gram cracker pie crusts and did it all the same. The amount will make two cakes if you do it the exact way. We didn't make the frosting however we decided we wanted real marshmallows so we used fluff and then some cut up marshmallows it turned out great. Please note that if you make the cake instead of the cupcakes it has to cook much longer. So don't worry about putting the crust in the oven, we did this and it almost makes the crust kinda rock hard if you do. We also used the broiler to toast the marshmallows.Well anyway this is what it came out to look like.

Nails GONE WILD!!!

So as anyone who knows me KNOWS for a fact, I can't help but bite my nails its this intense habit that I have had for years. The only time I have ever had long nails was when I was in high school I started getting them done and had them put gels on. But that doesnt really count cause they were fake and if even one came off then DANG it ALL of them were coming off. But about a week ago I realized that I hadn't bite any of them for almost a week. GO FIGURE! I had to forget about them to stop bitting them. So now I am going on just over 2 weeks and I have made a deal with myself; as long as I dont bite them I will keep them pretty. I'm talking filed, buffed, and polished. I already went out and got a nail kit for my purse and some fun polishes. And to help me keep this going I have realized that they are easier to take care of and polish when they are longer. I know i know I can hear my mom's voice saying, "I TRIED TO TELL YOU THAT FOR YEARS!!!!" yeah yeah I realize that but like with many things you have to figure them out on your own. So there you have it. Ok so now that I have explained my shin-ana-gins I am going to show what I have been doing to make this fun. I learned about this water marble polish techneic that is WAY COOL!!! and have done that a few times and I also managed to get my hands on some of OPI's Shatter nail polish ooo I LOVE IT!!!! ok so enough said lets see those pictures.

SMOOTHIES!!!

I love smoothies in the morning. Seriously its like a great way to kick start your day. So its been awhile since I posted anything since last time we have gone to New Mexico by way of Oklahoma...btw I dont understand why it is that everytime we go through Oklahoma there are these tolls that are HUGE seriously guys $5 a toll is kinda rediculus... and we didnt have to pay it once, nor did we have to pay it twice we had to pay that 4 times. Twice one way then twice the other way. And who could forget the whole dollar and a quater nonsense that happened when we went to Arizona... yeah taht was just silly. Any way I digress. I have also had my car check engine light come on and drove it home... well found out that there was a tube that was stuck open. Well I guess it was good thing it was stuck open cause if it was stuck closed then I could have lost everything while driving, including the breaks... SCARY right. Well that was fixed and I am driving Dad's car at the moment. Umm my parents went on a cruise with my Aunt and Uncle and stopped on there way back this weekend. I have been working on those bows and have even sold a few. But by the way you can lose an arm buying ribbon!!! And who knew!? I mean honestly something so cute and small should not make you spend a fortune! Ooo and Andrea and I have been trying to go to the YMCA every morning at 5am. Yes it sounds crazy, but I really like it. Then I'm up and ready to start the day, and who doesnt love that? REALLY??? One more thing before I sign off on this long awaited post, is there anything more delishous than crepes for breakfast??? Yes, yes there is, its crepes with ice cream in them. HOLY COW its like the best thing ever made!!! Man now I want to make some again. Gosh Darn it... ok well enjoy the pictures.
